I'm planning on doing a 3 inch body lift and want to see if ill have to do anything to the steering shaft. Anyone ever done this?

First post too! I have actually found info on here numerous times while working on my van the past six months! You guys are great!

I'm no body lift expert, but just some windy guy .
Does the fact that vans are more susceptible to side winds influence your stability when driving in windy areas? Does the height of the body off the chassis make it harder to control in these situations? (I told you I was windy )
