Default 2005 e250 service

i have a 2005 e 250 service van, it has manual door locks and manual windows. i have driven it for a while, then it started acting up. i have changed, fuel pump 2x , fuel module, filter, tps. i have been trying to figure out why it dies. start it up, runs for a couple of min, dies out. try to crank it without cycling ignition. it wont start. but if you cycle ignition it will start right up. run for a few min, then die again. i had played with the throttle module and made it mad but it kept running. then i tried to do the relearn for throttle and it was back to dying. i am just not sure what else it could be. i guess the other thing, it doesnt throw dtc. only if i do something to test. otherwise it has no code.... anyone got any help?

If you can,
Leave your code reader hooked up and don't turn the ign off when the problem occurs. When you turn then key off and on again you reset the computer in the vehicle and the code gets erased.
Let us know what code it shows, thanks.

Check the MAF. Disconnect battery ground, disconnect MAF electrical connector, wait 10 minutes, reconnect battery ground, start the van, you will get CEL, if not then your check engine light is probably not functioning, you need bulb check. Drive for 10 minutes or so, your van should NOT stall anymore while driving, but when MAF is disconnected your van can be placed in LIMP mode (failsafe mode), it can be lack of power, no A/C or the like, you can ignore those for MAF diagnostic purpose. If your van doesn't stall anymore and the previous issues are gone when MAF is disconnected, then you have a bad MAF. Don't try to buy CRC MAF cleaner to fix, the cleaner can't fix, it's for routine cleaning only.
Please always post followup whether or not this addresses the issue.
