2007 350 5.4L rear ac not switching to roof
Hello, brand new member, did a brief search but didn’t find anything.
suddenly late last year our rear ac quit switching to the roof vents, will only blow on floor and hot. The controls are only up front so shouldn’t be an issue there. As a side note, the front will not blow on the lowest setting, acts as if it off. Not concerned about that just need ac blowing in the rear. Any help will be appreciated, kids are getting hot in this heat wave!

I have repaired this on my 06 E150 at least 3 times since purchasing new. Go to fordparts.com and insert your VIN # for parts search. Search for rear ac to see exploded view. The fix involves replacing the plastic diverter door and the vacuum driven motor. The issue is that the pivot tab on the diverter door breaks off and it will not open to allow the cool air to circulate. You have to disassemble all of the side trim panels to get to the rear ac unit. The repair takes patience but the door and new vacumn motor will only set you back about $150. They have to be ordered from Ford. Good luck!
