Default 2012 E250 leak in the bellhousing

Hey everyone, just wanna get some opinions, had a decent sized leak coming from the bellhousing area. So we pulled the trans out (4r75e), pulled the tc, and replqced tge front seal. Put it all back together, back into the van, filled it up and turned it on, all was good for about 5 mins until the leak started again.

My question is.. is it possible to leak around the outside of the pump, or should i be looking at a possibly craked torque converter. I beleive there is a large sized o ring that goes around the oil pump on the outer edge right? What do you guys think?

What is the condition of the following,

Seal surface of the converter
Transmission vent clear
Bushing that supports the converter
Replacement seal installed correctly, not backwards
Possible pressure regulator problem

We usually try the seal over the converter sealing surface to confirm correct seal
Some seals contain a garter spring to maintain sealing contact with component, does the replacement seal have a spring and on installation is the spring getting shocked out of position?
Are we positive the leak is coming from the front seal?
