Default 2013 5.4 V8 into 1997 Ford Van with 5.4???

Bought a 1997 Ford Club wagon van off of Purplewave.com auction website. On the drive home all the oil leaked out and engine started knocking loud. This van has the 5.4 liter V8 with 2 valves. Ford made a 3 valve and apparently has a reputation for issues with oil sludge and spark plug problems. I want to replace the engine and use as a traveling camper van. It has high roof top and longer wheelbase. Body is in great condition for its age.

Anyway, I now have the opportunity to buy a 2013 Ford Van with 5.4 liter V8 2 valve that has been wrecked for cheap. ($1,200) It only has 27,000 miles. My question is will these different years engines swap effectively. I know the 2013 will have a lot more electronics but I’m mostly thinking are the motor mounts the same? And I was hoping to use the 2013 transmission as well.

The auction ends tomorrow around noon so I need to know before think about bidding on this wrecked 2013 ford van.

We have access to a lift so are planning to remove the body of the van from the frame and then swap out engine and transmission among a few other items while everything is accessible.

Any advice is appreciated. This will be quite the undertaking but I’m using it as an opportunity to bond with Step son and Step father as we will all be working on it together.
