Hello Hope all is fine.
Tomorrow I'am going to start back on the van at ten hours a day. The way I see it, is that I had the van working perfect then it went back to the exact same systoms: clouds of black gas rich smoke and hard shift to second. To me this mostly removes parts. For instance, the engine did not gradually run better, it was all a sudden. I do not see the parts or part re-setting in such a fashion. I have cleaned every connection twice, so, I will follow your last set of valuable instructions and I will go to the grounds first. I will keep you posted. Thank You.

I would have to go back and reread a hundred posts, but did you do anything with the MAP sensor?
