Default Ball joints sizes

While looking for new ball joints for my 1998 E350 super club wagon, I found multiple different options. Some labed for club wagons, some didn't mention club wagon in the description. They looked fairly similar in the photos.

With the E350's of a same year, can all the ball joints be assumed the same size, or do they differ depending on which van?

Welcome to the site.

Generally weight class determines specific product/part number for E150,E250-E350 etc. if any. As well as non and greaseable joints.

Thanks for the response,

so as long as I check mine to see if there's a grease insert or not, I should be able to buy, with some confidence, any ball joint listed for an E350, no matter if it specifies club wagon or ecoline?

E series stands for Econoline.
The Club Wagon is just a body variation. The joints would be the same.
If replacing, I'd go with greaseable joints. Lack of lube is generally what fails the joint over time. Either way, they'd probably out live the van if non lube type were used.
A lot of times when ordering,, more so using the basic drop down boxes, or full model range lists, they list all the potential build types that may cover many more part types that would or potentially be body, lighting, or hardware specific.
