Default Carburetor Newbie

Hello All,

I've done many different repairs on my 79 E-150 but carbs are completely new to me.

Any links, info, vids recommended for this venture... how to remove it? How to find the right rebuild kit? How to rebuild?
I've tried some searches but can't find anything that applies.

Windsor 351, Motorcraft carb (don't know the specific model)

I recommend getting a Haynes repair manual it is good for starters I am a professional mechanic and have done a lot with carburetors but none of the Ford ones though. Online usually you can find diagrams of them but some of the less known ones it can be hard.

It can be really hard to see what you are doing with a carb on a van. The light will never be real good under the doghouse. Just make sure nothing falls into the intake. Check with local vo-techs and see if they offer a course on carbs.
