Exclamation Chassis Bolts Surface Rust - Need for Concern?

Hello all - I'm slowly stripping out my 2013 E350 to build as a weekender / travel van. I have uncovered these bolts holding the chassis to the suspension. Should I be concerned on the rust I see? Should I replace them? Any other recommendations to address?

They look like they are ready for replacement.

Water or something had plenty of time to work on the bolt heads and they could be a problem to get out.

When they are as bad as the ones with no head left, definitely , replace them.

I am going to be the consistant one with my answer to your question and the one you posted back on April 20 under another name.

Myself, I would replace them with equivalent grade while you can still get a socket on them. I don't think there is a safety issue but as long as you are fixing things up, I'd replace them and the dried up bushings.

Thanks for the input Hanky and Raski. Not all of the body mounts look like this - these were simply the worst I found when stripping out the carpet. My guess is the prior owner spilled some water or drink and never properly cleaned/dried up the area, which allowed these to sit surrounded by moisture for far too long.

Time to source the proper mount locations and find a shop to lift me up.
