Default Cold Air Intake

Hello . I own a 1992 E350 Class C Motorhome with a 460 EFI . I would like to put a Cold air intake and upgrade my exhaust by removing the catalytic converter and going with 3.5 exhaust pipes . It seems like the air intake from factory is so small . The only upgrade I could find was a Banks system and that was only a new lid and K@N filter going on the existing air box . The motor only has 90 K on it . I would like to open it up as much as I can . Thanks

I have an '88 with an injected 460 and also think the intake is too small although it was way down in the front RH corner so drew cold air. I replaced it with one I made myself consisting of two pipes the same diameter as the pipes coming out of the plastic box on top pf the engine leading to two K&N filters that are as big as will fit in the space. They are located right behind the radiator so it's not a cold air intake, just a better breathing one and I can tell you that that alone made a huge difference. Routing the pipes to somewhere cold seemed too difficult but I think I'll try to put a bit more thought into it. Sorry I can't tell you where you can get a cold air intake but I just wanted to confirm your thoughts on the stock intake being way to small.
