Door pull cable
1994 E 150. Driver's side door. Outside handle will no longer open the door. ( pull type handle) Key inserted in lock will not unlock the door. Door will open from inside, but latch won't hook to keep the door closed unless the lock **** is pushed down. How do I get to the cable? And this has electric door locks.
Auto parts stores don't list any parts for the door.

You can drill them out with a 1/4 in drill bit after you punch in the center pins of the rivets.
Before you decide to dive in to the job, you might want to consider getting the replacement rivets first. No fun chasing for parts with the doors half apart.
If you get the rivets that you just push in the center pin to install, no other tool would be necessary.
I believe the part # for the rivets :,,,,,,,W 5 2 5 1 7 2-S 4 1 7.
Places like NAPA should be able to come up with the right size rivets if you can't get them from Ford.
