Default E350 7.3 Diesel

Aloha everyone!
First of many questions. Can anyone tell me the tank sizes on a 91' E350 7.3 Diesel? I think the front is like a gallon or two smaller than the rear and it seems to be around 15 gallons. Does that sound right for the year? Mahalo for any help

Second - On cold start it spits some mean white smoke. It has been doing since I owned it 3+ years, but now is having some hard time starting when cold I guess one of my fuel injectors was loose...and it's start better now but that white smoke...Is that normal for an old diesel? do you think changing fuel injectors completely would be a good call?? I've added fuel injector/cleaner - change my oil timely - changed glow plugs - change fuel filter regularly... Thanks in advance

Might be a good idea to confirm the glow plug relay is working.. I believe located at the rear top of the engine. Then confirm if power is getting to all the glow plugs when you turn the key on and wait for the "Wait" light to go out.

I forgot to mention I replaced that ... but will make sure they are all getting power. Thank you!

Hi, Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I actually changed the glow plug relay a couple years ago. My light doesn't work any more... I just count to 8 slow.
Smoke is almost all gone now, but I have much bigger problems. Do you have any idea why the engine is surging? I've done so much work on it in the last few months and still can't figure it out. Can you see my last Thread?

Thanks for any help!

There is a glow plug module that may not be working.

When the wait to start lamp stopped working, that was the time to start checking things. Waiting and trying to by pass problems only allows for more to grow.

The 7.3 is a good reliable engine , but does not like to be ignored maintenance wise.
