I have a 2006 E350 with the diesel engine. The van runs horribly when cold and gets slightly better as it warms up. I brought it to a local mechanic and he said all 8 injectors failed at one time while testing them. Is it possible all are bad at one time? Are there any other things we could check before paying to have all injectors replaced? Also if the injectors are indeed bad where is the best place to get them at the lowest price.

The van runs like something is tied to it and holding it back, not so much skipping but the engine just doesn't build enough power.

 

When was the last time you changed the fuel and air filters?
