Engine shot. Missed warranty by 10 days.
Owner of a Ford 2014 Econoline E350 Super Duty, original owner with 36,000 actual mile. Immaculate condition minus one important part. Engine now shot.
Out of warranty by 10 days. (5 yr, 60,000 mile drive train warranty)
Van sitting at local dealership. They have talked to Ford, reply was simple, nothing we can do for you. We have tried a Ford contact number which sends us overseas to chat with someone with limited English, frustrating to say the least.
Any suggestions other than write out a $10,000 check would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Joe

My first question is ,
What happened that caused the engine to be " Shot"?
Did you purchase the vehicle from this dealership?
What kind of maintenance did it receive?
I ask these questions because if you had the correct maintenance done , and have records to prove it along with having purchased the vehicle there they should be able to work something out that is acceptable to you both.
