Default Fuel Pump Driver Module

Frustrated... ok, no fuel on 2004 Econoline 350, 5.4.
Went thru the checks, fuse, fuel relay, fuel safety shut off, now down to the famous Fuel Pump Driver Module, or the Pump itself. Having trouble locating the module on my van. Seen all the photos of F150’s with corroded ones, etc. No photos of a Econoline or location. After I find and check it, it’s got to be the pump ? It’s 14 years old, but only 10K miles I bought for my business. Anybody know the answer ? Thanks in advance... 👍
PS will run with either...

It is generally mounted on the rear chassis crossmember. Check under the spare tire.

Default Fuel Pump Driver Module

Hanky, thanks for your reply. I’ve already dropped spare and looked all around under it., and on the crossover member, still no luck. I thought I had located it,..but it turned out to be a box for the fuel vapours. On the frame rail past the midship tank it looks like it could be the secondary pump with wires, hoses, etc. behind it. It’s covered with cylindrical type of shape metal cover so I’ll start looking behind it as well. The scanner I used found no trouble codes set at all. Again, thanks for your help.

PS Hanky, would you happen to have the electrical diagram for it ? BTW, while going thru all the posts this am, I’ve noticed you have offered lots of advise. That’s what makes forums great, all of us helping each other. Thanks again, and have a great weekend. 👍

Hi Dave,
Did you find the Fuel pump driver module ?
From what you describe , you are looking too far forward. It should be right under the spare tire.

Not yet hanky... storms here yesterday, so I’ll probably start looking again today. Going to get a manual. I want to sell it, but can’t sell it not running. Let you know how it goes... thanks. 👍 First thing I’ll do is drop the spare, this time until I find it .

Hanky... 2 updates. 1. It’s a 2002 van, I was wrong. 2. It doesn’t have a Fuel Pump Driver Module. Makes sense, since I couldn’t find it. This info came from Ford, and they want $573 for the pump and sending unit... lol. That’s not gonna happen. Update you when/ if I ever find the problem. Thanks.
