upon starting this evening , lights dimmed as I drove off , idiot lights flashing on dash,wipers very sluggish as if low volts. Barely made it home after 1/2 mile. will investigate tomorrow,is the alternator a good place to start ? anything else ? any input helps Thanks

 

It's always a good idea to check the battery and alternator connections before deciding to replace the alt.
