Default IAT Location

2003 E-250 with 5.4. I picked up code 0113. I cannot find the location of the sensor. My Helms Manual shows location for the IAT on all engines except the gasoline 5.4. Does this mean my IAT in integrated with the MAF?

I did also replace the MAF, cleared the cods but continue to get the 0113 IAT code.

Any direction you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately the computer doesn't always know the problem has been corrected.
Try a forced reset, remove the neg cable from the battery and hold it against the positive cable at the battery for a few minutes (10-20)while the PCM loses its keep alive memory then reconnect it to the neg post and see what you get. You will lose your radio stations so you may want to make a note of them before removing the cable.

Thanks, I will try that.

Are you suggesting actually putting the negative battery connector in contact with the positive connector? Or just a simple disconnect.

You place the end of the negative cable that you removed from the battery against the positive cable which is still connected. What you are doing is providing a path for the memory charges to leak down and be erased from the computer.
