Default Ignition key tumbler problem

I have a 1991 Ford Universal Conversion van...which I think is the same as the Econoline.

At any rate. V8. But I'm having a problem with the ignition key tumbler assembly. I stopped for a few minutes then when I went to start it again the key would not go all the way around to engage the starter....and the shift was not released.

Any ideas on how to remove it? I have another van for parts....just want to swap the parts over.

Default RE: Ignition key tumbler problem

Never mind. I figured it out. Its not the tumbler or key cylinder anyways. It looks like its inside the steering column itself....any ideas? Looks like I need to remove the entire steering column?
