I have just found out that the knock sensor is broken off the block on my 4.9 300. I have searched and asked everyone i could think of and am unable to get this sensor because they say it is no longer manufactured and that i could only find it used off another engine. Does anyone know wher i can find this sensor. I have heard there is a way you canprogram the ECU to disable the code for the knock sensors 5 Volts. I need help because my tags are due February. Thanks
