Hello guys, I have an Econoline 150 2002 4.6L. I took the protector out from the inside to check something in the engine and I saw this loose part that I have to fix it (really easy) but I wanted to know what is it for, here are the pics....

And Other question, what is for the hose that has silver tape on it? (have to replace it, is close to crack)

The broken off wires with the green coating looks like it might be going to the oxygen sensor. The hose with the gray tape is a vacume line. Not sure what that lever is suppose to pull on.
