Default Rear air ducts not working

Hi all,
I drive a 2005 Econoline van for a non-profit organization. Last week, the rear air ducts quit working. It's not working for A/C, heat or vent. I can feel the refrigeration line that runs along the driver side to the back and it is cold. I can hear the fan at the rear and it works thru all the different speeds.
I'm assuming that there is some kind of door at or near the rear fan that is not working. Can someone confirm this and how to get at it? I've looked at the plastic panels, but I don't want to go *****-nilly trying to pop them off and end up breaking something.

BTW, the front ones at the dash are fine

Thank you in advance for the help!

The only thing that comes to mind for me is the blend door. I would definitely suggest getting a diagnosis from a mechanic but if it does end up being the blend door then you will need to look into part number XC2Z-19E616-AA (#XC2Z19E616AA: Actuator. Adjust motor. Motor assy.) for your vehicle.

Thank you! I'm sure that's it. Maybe a vac line, maybe the door itself. Getting those panels off will be the next trick.

Thanks again for your reply

Yeah, this job can be a bear. It may be worth signing up for All-Data DIY.
