Default Steering column ignition starter actuator

I replaced the steering column in my '89 E250 several years ago when the Ignition Switch actuator pin broke, now the used column I installed has done the same, truck starts when starter relay is jumped. I want to install a push button switch & am trying to find the Red with Blue stripe wire that connects to the starter relay. In looking under steering column I find no Red with Blue stripe wire in bundle of wire at grey connector, or anywhere else under dash, can anyone advise me how to do this without running new wire from relay to dash?

Whatever you do do not by-pass the "neutral safety sw" (MLPS) located on the trans.
Trace the wire coming from the start position of the ign sw down to the MLPS and use that. That way you will still have the safety of the vehicle not starting in gear.
