Trying to do something nice
We recently added 2011 E150 to our fleet and assigned it to my husband who has a lot of windshield time and spends a lot of time on the phone. It is his mobile office.
I wanted to have a handsfree bluetooth aftermarket installed as a Christmas Gift, especially since it is compatible with IPOD and he listens to a lot of business development MP3s on drive. I've selected the Parrot Mki9200 as I have installed in my own vehicle and love it.
However, my installer and I are confused on conflicting information on the correct harness to purchase for successful install, and as I do not drive the truck it would be difficult for me to get it to them to get their input and guidance. Current is stock factory am/fm no frills radio only.
The two options are the QCExp-1MK but it also references that some of the Cargo Vans utilize older style 16pin harness QCForC-1MK. Would you happen to know if this factory radio utilizes the older style 16pin harness?
Not sure if URLs will link correctly due to session ids, but the main website for Parrot wiring harnesses is www.quickconnectproducts.com
Thanks in Advance. He will be going out of town on training in couple of weeks, so would like to have the harness here so I can have it installed and surprise him on his return.

This is not the most intelligent answer there is, but it will guarantee a successful install: buy them both ... you'll be losing $60 in the worst case. This is a small price to pay extra ... and it is well worth it, imo ..

I think I agree with you...worst case scenario I resell the unused part at loss later. Just hoping to avoid that scenario...but given my short span of ordering and delivery, you are right. Keep with spirit.
