08 Edge Limited
Hi Everyone,
Brand new to the site, hope I can seek some help or suggestions.
My wife has an 08 ford edge limited and the AC stopped blowing cold. At the same time we noticed the engine temp gauge was read above the H as far to the right as possible. We brought it in and the found AC unit was down a half pound so they filled it and added dye.
Once we had the vehicle back..... engine temp has been fine, AC works great on hwy at speed but idling in town it doesn't blow as cold. Additionally the blower fan runs at high speed even when the AC is on low. If AC is off and only fan on the blower does not run and neither does the engine fan.
Also when AC is on and you shut the car off the blower fan continues to run for 5 seconds or so?
Thoughts? Blower motor resistor?
