Greetings to the group! I'm looking at a 2010 Edge Limited. I think it is a fair asking price but I'm wondering what the consensus is about 107,000 miles on an Edge of this age. It is very clean and looks well taken care of.


Back in the day (my day, in the late '70s and 80s) you would not touch a used vehicle with that kind of mileage. Nowadays, not so much.


I just traded an F150 I put 329,000 miles on so I'm one to keep vehicles a while.


Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

If the deal is hard to pass up and has a clean CARFAX report then jump on it.
Especially if its close or below loan value....


I just bought my wife a 2014 SEL yesterday; deal was hard to say no to and
is 0% for 60 months.
I am a prior Ford technician and would actually prefer a 2011 and up due to
some minor engine problems, but those problems were probably caused by
poor maintenance by their owners.
My wife's Mercury Mariner has 277,000 and zero problems and will keep it as a
errand runner for around the town. No engine, transmission or heating/Air Cond.
problems. I think it will go 375,000 before I have to do anything major to it.
