I purchased my 07 brand new and have always had my services done at Ford and only have 55,000 kms on it. The other day as I was driving my edge just stopped having power. Come to find out I need a new transmission. Absolutely ridiculous on a vehicle with only 55,000kms on it. Then ford have me an estimate and a week later that estimate just went up $900. I have been so unhappy with the customer service I have been receiving. I've googled the 2007 edges and apparently there's a common issue with the 2007 transmission. I honestly feel like I shouldn't have to pay for this, maybe it should be a recall or maybe ford needs to look into this problem. Never again will I buy a ford and you can be sure that I will let everyone know about my experiences.
