My Edge is loosing coolant (it only has 98K miles on it) and my mechanic got this code when he ran a diagnostic on it. I did find this :the Ford TSB #22-2229 clearly directs techs to inspect cylinder heads of these engines for coolant intrusion. Ford has officially admitted to being aware of this issue since at least June 2022.Apr 18, 2023. But there is no recall on my Edge. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Other than this issue, I have no complaints. I just want to get ideas on how to proceed and get this corrected!

TSB22-2229 is the code that is given -

 

A code would consist of a capital letter and four digits like P0174.

What you have provided is a TSB - Technical Service Bulletin.

We would like to think that is close, but close only counts with hand grenades and horseshoes,, lol.

Not wise to offer suggestions on something that may not apply. Persistence, patience and courtesy usually get decent results.They have no idea what you have to do to require your vehicle. Not sure if this would even be covered by any kind of warranty.
