My power liftgate won't close on my 2017 Ford Edge Titanium. It opens normally when I press the button. When I press the button to close it the liftgate starts to close for a brief second then goes back up. I have to manually close the lift gate. I've done the power reset. Checked fuses. I turned off the power liftgate setting. Turned it back on. I just tried to replace the power liftgate actuator. It still won't close. Only opens. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help!

 

There are pinch sensors on the sides of the liftgate, one could be faulty causing this bounce back. Have you done the initialization procedure if not try that or have a dealer try it first. I'll attach the procedure.
