Check engine light
Code reader reveals O2 sensors in banks 1 and 2 need to be replaced. Has anyone dealt with this? Auto zone guys tells me it is another sensor just past the air filter intake. 2 different estimates from auto shops, one says the solenoid needs to be replaced, another says both sensors need to be replaced along with servicing of said solenoid. Looking for someone whos had this issue that can give me some sage advice!

Thanks for responding Hanky. So I have a 2011 ford edge 153000 miles. The codes popping up are P2196 and P2198 O2 sensors are stuck in rich bank. I did just go with the mechanic that pinpointed the issue as the solenoid to be stuck open. I had 2 different shops give me 2 different solutions, I just went with the cheaper one.
