I like the new 2015 Edge Sport (absolutely all options: Yellow color, 21" rims, Pano moonroof, storage pkg) -> 46k. I think it looks great although the price is kinda high for a Ford.

I currently own a BMW X3 Xdrive28i (premium pkg, lightning pkg, Driver Assist pkg) with 1 year and 9000 miles, which has been flawless and I like a lot, but I am looking around because I might get a new vehicle in another year or so.


Can anybody that has driven both compare these 2 rides?

I saw an Edge sport (fully loaded) in the Miami International Auto Show, sat in it and I thought it is a nice vehicle. It looks better, in my opinion, that the Range Rover Evoque or even the Audi Q5.
I mentioned to a friend [that came with me to the auto show] that I was considering (more like entertaining the idea) trading my X3 by the fully loaded Edge and he said that the Edge could never compare with my X3. I assume that he is referring to the allure (aka bling factor) of the BMW brand

I am concerned with the edge driving dynamics, steering wheel accuracy and feedback, stability at high speeds, transmission smoothness, reliability, comfort for long trips, etc

Could you comment about this? thanks
