Default Illumination wire

I just replace the head unit on my Edge, but for the life of me I cannot find the illumination wire. Can anybody give me a hand. Thanks

Illumination on some systems is part of the 12 volt in. Are you replacing with a stock system? They should match up.

Is an aftermarket and the scheme is completly different

Couldn't you just get your test light and wire it to a proper 12 volt source - or must it be spliced specially?
