Default 01 Escape fuel filter leak

I just replaced another fuel filter, probably 3rd or 4th on this vehicle. When I started the vehicle i had a fuel leak on the inlet side. The inlet connect came off hard compared to other times. The connector seemed loose after reassembly. i disassembled and reassembled and still a leak. i've validated i have the correct replacement filter. I've validated i had the retaining clip past the raised rib on the filter. Does the connector have orings in it? i replaced this while the vehicle was on the ground. I looked around for some orings but was not able to see any. Where can i get a replacement inlet fuel filter connector? This one has a 90 degree bend in it.
i found some after market connectors. Does anyone know what size the fuel line is? I have the v-6.
Thanks in advance.
