'11 Escape violent bump as shifted into drive
2011 Escape has a violent bump when shifting into drive. Replaced all motor mounts. Any ideas where I should look next?
2.5 liter front wheel drive.

This could be coming from inside the trans.
There are what we call accumulator pistons that work against spring(s) when clutches are applied . Sometimes if the spring(s) are broken the cushioning effect is lost.
Might be a good idea to get a second and third opinion from a trans shop.
