I recently bought a new stereo from Crutchfield. They sent me everything( instructions, mounting plate,etc.) I followed theinstructions to a T. I unhooked the negative battery cable. I installed to stereo. I hooked the negative battery cable back up. I turned on the ignition and everything worked fine. Ihave noticed in the past that whenI have unhooked the battery that the instrument panel goes crazy. No problem there yet. I came back a few minutes later and tried to listen to the radio. NothingNo radio. I tried to start the ignition and the instrument panel goescrazy.The engine started fine but still no radio. Iturned off the ignition, got out and tried to lock the doors with the keyless entry device (no luck there.) I open the door back and tried to press thedoor lock button on the panel (still no luck.) Ihad to lock the doors manually.If I have the ignition running the door lock button on the panel works fine. Now everytime when I start the ignition I get the instrument panel going crazy thing. I put the oldfactory radio back in and it doesn't work either.I would appreciate any kind of help.
