Default 2003 Escape - Won't Start...

I'm fairly certain I know the answer to this...

I picked up this Escape a few days ago. Overall in great shape with relatively low miles, 83000. It ran just fine for a few days.

Yesterday, my parked it to run some errands for a couple hours. Wouldn't start after she came back. It turns over but won't fire up.

I was hoping it was a severely clogged fuel filter, which I replaced. No dice.

I checked the fuel pump breaker behind the passenger kick, it looks good.

Am I likely looking at a bad pump? Or is there another suspect I should be considering as well?

When you first turn the key on , do you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds?
You should, if not let us know.
