I just had Autozone scan my truck and a code read P0420 and P0430 and it says Catalyst System efficiency bank 1. What exactly does this mean? And is there a good cheap fix for this to rid the check engine light? Thanks

 

If there is really one, I haven't heard of it yet.
Chances are the catalytic converter has had it . Replacement is the only option, but the cause needs to be checked and determined. It could be something that was not corrected when the C/E light came on.initially .
