Just had a head replaced on my Escape. Now it is losing a quart of oil almost every day. Ran dye through it and used a black light. There are no leaks. None of the rings are bent or unsealed. Every cylinder shows 170 psi on the compression check. It is putting some black soot out the tail pipe. Don't know if that's related. Next to selling it we're all out of ideas.
