Exclamation 2005 Escape Engine

Is there any other engine that can be used to replace a 2005 Ford Escape 2.3L non hybrid engine? Like the 2005 Focus engine?

Default Help!

Help! 30 views and no answers. Really need to buy an engine. Hard to find, but some of the others might be easier to find. If they fit, it will make things sooooo much easier. HELP!

you need to have someone with an interchange manual to find that one out you might try a salvage yard. and if your escape ain't front wheel drive then the answer to that is no it won't work

Default 4-wheel drive

Thank you for replying!!

So if the Excape is 4-wheel drive, then another engine from a focus wouldn't work anyway even if it would work in other ways?

The mounting is all different in a front wheel drive car and the engine goes in sideways that's why it wouldn't work
