I tried posting this yesterday but it seems to have just disappeared/never shown up... Sorry if it's doubling it up.
The vacuum hose going to my MAP Sensor is falling apart and I need to replace it. I'm assuming it's just as simple as sliding a new hose onto the two ends... but I can't find anywhere to tell me what size the hose is. Anyone know the size? And since I'm a newbie, I assume I can just pick up some of it at Autozone or something? Thanks!
You should be able to replace it with just a piece of regular vacuum hose. Looks like it would work without kinking. You can always take that piece to a NAPA store if there's one nearby to match up the inner diameter. It sells by the foot and every DIY'er should have an assortment of sizes on hand in their tool box.
It doesn't look special to me where a special ordered piece is warranted.
