2006 Escape 2WD Transmission build date details?
I am looking for a Transmission for my 2006 Ford Escape Limited, 4x2, 3.0 V6, VIN 1 (8th digit) build date 10/28/05.
When looking to purchase one the sellers mention this is for "4x2, thru 10/2/05" or "4x2, from 10/3/05" What are the differences before and after build date 10/2/05? Is this something that can be changed easily enough to make it work? Every one that I find is the earlier build date.
