I'm looking to install an aftermarket command start in my 2.4L auto Escape, but I'm a little confused about the wiring. The diagram that came with the starter shows wire connections for positive door input and negative door input, lock output and unlock output, but from what I've found the lock and unlock on an escape use the same wire with a 1000Ohm/negative signal.

Also, the transponder shows some kind of a DATA MODE wire, which doesn't seem to exist on the physical unit.

Does anyone have experience installing these that can offer some insight? Thanks!
