Default 2008 Escape Head Light Replacement

I have a 2008 headlight that went out on the drivers side. Looks like it should be pretty easy to replace. The passenger side light I had to fight to get the thing lose. The drivers side wont budge. I cant even pull the connector off the bulb. Any tricks to pry this baby lose short of breaking it? It wont turn left/right. Tried pushing it forward a bit. It dont want to come out!!

Thanks,

Soop

Welcome to the site..

Should be just a squeeze on the connector locking tab to release the lock tang. If you can feel it push, possibly a little bit of leverage with a flat S driver. Shouldn't take much help, if any at all. Then, turn the headlight 1/8 turn counterclockwise and pull outward.
