I've only had the vehicle a month or so. Everything worked fine. I had bought a Flash Drive, uploaded all my music on it and was playing it using the Sync system until,,, my friend went to charge his IPhone in my USB. I took out my flash drive, he plugged in his phone to charge but he said his phone wasn't charging. After that,, both my auxiliary ports aren't being recognized so I can't play my music in either my USB or my Line In ports.


I tried the pulling the fuse method and the disconnecting the negative cable on the battery method but none of them worked. Anyone have any advice for me as to how to fix this issue.

Go to syncmyride if I remember correctly. The site will ask you for the VIN. By this date you may have fixed the problem. I need to recheck my 12 Escape also. Hope this helps.

 

did the adapter burn up port where it lugs in or it may have a bad connection
