Default 2014 Rear window wiper assembly

Is there a different wiper arm, and blade assembly, available to replace original? The original Blade replacement is difficult, and is not the easiest to replace. going back to the old style, would be much better. or an aftermarket replacement, would also be good. 2014 Escape S

Default Not a big deal

I agree that Ford could have done a better job on this one.... just like the battery location. However, it is easy to change the rear wiper blade. Just pull the whole arm away from the window, grab the actual wiper blade thin part and pull it back towards the window while holding onto the larger arm cover. The blade has a notch in the middle of it that is holding onto a pin on the arm. You can see it if you get your eyes on it. To insert the new one, just reverse the process.

I'd recommend using Motorcraft blades for this type of application. Aftermarket blades may save you $3 but you most likely get a good attachment to the pin.

Best of luck to you.
