I like my Escape 1.6 Titanium Version but I'm finding out it's a bit of a pain to work on. Today I decided to tackle 2 simple feats, first being an oil change and finding out that the oil filter placement is rather a PIA to change, I think I will just in the future have someone else do it. Second feat was to change out the Purge Valve harness on the engine as I was experiencing the hard start after fuel fill up syndrome and it all points back to the harness. Ordered a replacement and today started to do the replacement UNTIL trying to figure out how to remove the line connectors to the line by the firewall and that one down below after you remove the airfilter assembly by the turbo air tube. Help me out on how to do this WITHOUT breaking and plastic nipples....
