Never had a problem. Car has had no accidents. Less than 50k miles. When I try to open door in seems to be binding up, It will open 2-3 inches and binds up. I can see latch and no obstructions. Do not see anything stuck in door, Hinges don.t seem to bind but lubed anyway. Don't see any flex in the hinges. Any ideas?

 

Usually there are a few things that are connected to the door assy.
The hinges, the door stop that limits the door opening , the wiring to the window and door locks and if the door has moved ,the forward edge of the door could be catching on the rear edge of the fender.
There may be something that has come off related to the door stop.. If you place the window all the way down , you might with the help of a flashlite be able to look down into the door and maybe see what could be causing the problem.

Sometimes crazy things happen and something got jammed inside the opening where the front of the door has to go.
