I have 9k miles on my Escape. Recently it has been making a high pitched "beeeeping"sound erradically for a few seconds. Sometimes it doesn't make the sound for a couple of days. Today it's been snowing and it began to beep during a 5 minute drive. NO dash lights but ones you would expect to be on. Ideas?

Various features are usually explained and might provide an answer to your concern.

 

I did check the owners manual but never found anything regarding the problem. I'm beginning to think it's one of the sensors used to sense how close the suv is to another object.

 

Got the very same issue on my 2015 Ford Escape Titanium SUV, i bought it with 15K miles on it and since day 1 the power liftgate wont close itself using any of the mothods, it does open as it should (by using the panel button, key fob button, kick behind the door), but when trying to close it beeps 5 times, please any help will be appreaciated
