2020 Escape Titanium No Heat & Message
This morning, when I went to start my 2020 Escape Titanium, there was the following message on the display when it started up: "System Shut Down to Save Battery". There is nothing wrong with my battery and I don't know if the problem I experienced later is related or not, but I drove 18 miles into town in 28ºF weather with cold air blowing for over 20 minutes. The engine warmed as usual, but only cold air came out of the vents. Once I got to my first stop and started the engine again, the heater worked normally. I have the dual-climate control system, so I can't select "Heat". Can I assume the temperature is computer-controlled? Everything was normal at all of my stops and on the way home. I am also wondering if any code would be registered.
