Wife got me Weather Techs for Christmas, but she didn’t get the channel/capture type.

 

Ford dealer wanted close to $300.00 . These are laser cut for a perfect fit just like Weather Tech and they were only $169.00 Cnd funds . I was surprised at the thickness and weight and sturdiness of the rubber .

 

Got my nuts covered up . . .lol . . . . .Wheels torqued and hubcaps installed .

 

Crazy amount of sipes on those hoops!

 

That is for traction on hard packed snow or ice up here in the Rockies .

 

Paid for premium bumper to bumper warranty as a single woman. Passenger headlamp holds excessive moisture due to faulty seals and was denied due to “doesn’t cover moisture intrusion” the moisture intrusion is caused by faulty seals.

 

It always pays to read the fine print.
Some warranties get so ridiculous they are not worth the paper they are printed on.

 

When you are not covered by the extended warranty you are on your own. Just remove the bulb socket and use air compressor, then add bulb or dielectric grease before you put the bulb back in. Use the same grease on all the seals.
This is, in fact, something you MUST do without thinking of warranty, whenever you change out any bulb or installing aftermarket fog light, a pretty common practice.
