Let us know what he found. Compressor clutch bearing or compressor seized maybe?

FYI, Usually when a compressor locks up lubricant gets gummy and crap starts circulating through the system. The correct thing to do is flush the system to remove as much junk as possible. The rec/dryer/accumulator definitely should be replaced as well as the orifice tube. Some people take short cuts and have no problems << right away,,,but that is what we call a built in failure. The person repairing your vehicle may do all the right things, and that is great. It doesn't hurt to familiarize yourself a little so you can ask the right questions and possibly remind the person if a step should slip his mind. There are various videos on U Tube to help explain some of the procedures and some are very helpful. Hoping for the best !
